Harassment. Warren City Police reported that John T. Jarjabka Jr., Warren, was cited at 11:49 p.m. on Aug. 29 after officers were dispatched to his residence for a domestic dispute.
Brokenstraw Twp.
Harassment. Warren-based state police reported investigating a incident of domestic violence on Indian Camp Run Road on Aug. 27. Police said Jessie Lyons and Jerrad Howard subjected each other to physical contact. Howard received minor injury and was charged with harassment. Lyons was arrested and charged with simple assault, arraigned before District Justice Laura Bauer and released on her own recognizance and several different stipulations.
Elk Twp.
Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a one-vehicle accident on Scandia Road, south of S. State Line Road, on Aug. 27 at 4 p.m. Police said a 1989 Ford F-150 driven by Barbara E. Pugh, Russell, was negotiating a sharp left curve, dropped off the right shoulder prior to crossing both lanes of traffic and hit the left shoulder guard rail. The vehicle received disabling damage to the front passenger side bumper and radiator and was towed from the scene. Police said Pugh received minor injuries as a result of the accident but was charged with driving on roadways laned for traffic.
Glade Twp.
Theft. Warren-based state police reported that someone took flower pots and yard lamps from the front yard of Samuel W. Lore, Holly Street. The value of the items was approximately $100. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police or the Warren County Crime Stoppers.
Pittsfield Twp.
Theft. Warren-based state police reported that between 4:30 p.m. and 5:10 p.m. on Aug. 26 someone took a dog belonging to Jean Alexander, Pittsfield. The dog is a five- to six-year-old female, tri-colored, Australian shepherd with a long tail. She was last seen wearing a purple/red collar and goes by the name of "Ruby." Police said there are no known suspects, but a red van is suspected to have been used in this incident. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police or the Warren County Crime Stoppers.
Simple assault. Warren-based state police report at approximately 8:15 a.m. on Aug. 31, Kyle G. Salva, 32 and Heather A. Hutchings 36, both of Pittsfield, became involved in a verbal altercation that turned physical and resulted in injuries to both subjects. Both were taken before Magisterial District Judge Lindemuth for preliminary arraignment. Hutchings was charged with harassment and Salva was released on $25,000 unsecured bail and order to have no further contact with Hutchings.
Spring Creek Twp.
Indecent assault. Following an investigation by Warren-based state police, Eugene L. Muzzy, 46 has been charged with one count of indecent assault. Muzzy reportedly had indecent contact with a known female juvenile between Aug, 17 and Aug. 18. Further court action is pending.
Clarendon
Burglary. Warren-based state police reported that a known 12-year-old male broke into the home of Misty Tiner, Clarendon, and stole a shotgun on Aug. 27 between 9:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. Police said charges will be filed through District Justice Laura Bauer's office.
