BETTY DELONG

Betty DeLong, 93, of 701 Rouse Avenue, Youngsville, PA, passed away on Wednesday, August 29, 2012, at the Rouse Warren County Home.

Mrs. DeLong was born April 10, 1919, in Warren, PA, the daughter of the late Clyde and Gladys Dietch. Betty was a homemaker and occasionally worked at New Process and Bell Telephone Company. She was a member of the Trinity Memorial Episcopal Church in Warren, Pa., and enjoyed sewing and spending time with her family.

She is survived by three sons, John DeLong, and wife, Pauline, Kerrville, TX, Jim DeLong, and wife, Kelly, Titusville, PA, and Eldo DeLong, Jr., and wife, Wendy, Kirkland, WA; nine grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death on May 5, 1919, by her husband, Eldo DeLong, Sr., whom she married on April 6, 1941; and her brother, Robert Dietch.

Inurnment will be in the Trinity Memorial Episcopal Church Columbarium, Warren, Pa.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Trinity Memorial Episcopal Church, 444 Pennsylvania Ave. W., Warren, PA 16365.

The Peterson-Blick Funeral Home, Inc. has been entrusted with arrangements.
