Kaitlin Weidner and Whitney Poindexter had four kills each for the Lady Lions (1-0). Jessica Lauffenburger added eight aces, while Allyssa Kerr had seven more. Lauffenburger and Kerr each recorded two kills.

"It was a great start; I was pleased with their playing," said WCCS coach Minika Kerr. "There's some copmmunication issues - but for the first game that's to be expected."
