Golf results

Sam Marek, Matt Kiser and Dick Craker shared low gross of 37 and Rick Moore and John Elms shared low net of 28 in Warren County Industrial Golf League play Thursday at Blueberry Hill Golf Club. Here are the team standings through Thursday's round:

Bill Young had low gross of 39 and Bob Petroline and Barry Crist shared low net of 31 in Youngsville Senior Golf League play on Tuesday at Maplehurst Country Club.

Bob Anderson, Earl Arnold, Crist, Dave Grady, Terry Jackson, Dale Martin, Petroline, Frank Suppa, Gary Wood and Young all had birdies during play.

Rec playoffs

Fralick Chiropractic and Betts will meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Betts Field, Betts Park, in the first game of the playoff finals of the Richard T. Betts Rec Modified Softball League.

Betts must defeat Fralick twice for the Rec title as Fralick is the winners bracket winner in the double-elimination tournament that has taken place over the past three weeks.

Game two, if necessary, will be at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, or following Game one.
