Warren-Forest Pomona Grange elects officers and hears county fair winners

Warren-Forest Pomona Grange recently held its quarterly meeting and elected officers. They are: master, Kelly Van Ord; overseer, Nancy Eck; lecturer, Julie Shaffer; steward, Jolene McWilliams; assitant steward, Matthew Irons; lady assistant steward, Jeanne Reinard; chaplain, Deanna Hollabaugh; treasurer, Miranda Irons; secretary, Jean Hollabaugh; gatekeeper, Sonny Anderson; ceres, Lois Wike; pomona, Neva Anderson; flora, Bessie Gardner; executive for a three-year term, Jeanne Reinard; finance for a three-year term, Bob Hollabaugh; and finance for a one-year term, Matt Irons.

Winners in the Grange during the Warren County Fair were: Watson Grange for their exhibit first place. Theme for 2013 will be "Volunteer-It Is Good For You." Other winners-Jolene McWilliams-first-Full Afghan, Wendy Winkels-first-Baby Afghan, second-Full Afghan, third; Bob Hollabaugh-first-People Photo, second-Close up & Animal Photos; Matthew Irons-first-Building Blocks, third-Painted Fishing Lure; Kelly Van Ord-first-Short Story, second-Bead Ornament, Start with a Cake Mix, Lemon Bar, Scenery Photo, third-People & Animal Photo, Building Blocks, Cherry Pie and Truffles; Miranda Irons, first, Lemon Bars, Close up, Scenery & Animal Photos, second-Building Blocks, Cherry Pie & third-Bead Ornament; Deanna Hollabaugh-third-Close up & Scenery Photos; John Hollabaugh-second-People Photo; Jean Hollabaugh-first-Doilie, Bead Ornament, Cherry Pie & Scrapbook Page, second-Truffles, thirrd-full Afghan & Lemon Bars.
