Powerlifting
Warren Area High School graduate Rex Graham finished first in the Teen Pro 18-and-19-year-old, 220-pound class of the International Powerlifting Association (IPA) Raw National Powerlifting and Bench Press Championships on Aug. 18 at York Barbell Company, York, Pa. Graham broke IPA World Records in his division in Deadlift, Squat, Bench and Total Weight categories. He had a deadlift on that day of 600 pounds, a squat of 510, Bench of 365, and a Total Weight of 1,475 pounds, according to ipapower.com.
