Ashley McLaughlin has been named to the spring 2012 dean's list at Robert Morris University, Moon Township, Pa. A 2011 cum laude graduate of Youngsville High School, she will be a sophomore this fall majoring in photography. She is the daughter of George and Karen McLaughlin, Youngsville.

Warren resident Sheryl Kridler graduated from Drexel University's College of Nursing and Health Professions with a master of science degree in nursing.

Jane Larson, a senior religion major at Westminster College, New Wilmington, has been named to the dean's list for the spring 2012 semester. She is the daughter of Richard and Dawn Larson and a graduate of Warren Area High School. To be named to the dean's list at Westminster, a student must earn a grade average of 3.6 or better.

Four local students completed requirements for graduation from Indiana University of Pennsylvania as of May 2012.

Kayla Ann Johnson of Pittsfield earned a bachelor of science degree in elementary education.

Jason Michael Snavley of Tidioute earned a bachelor of science degree in hospitality management.

Chelsea Briana Case of Warren earned a bachelor of arts degree in psychology and a bachelor of science degree in education, speech-language pathology and audiology.

Alyssa Beth Griffin of Warren earned a bachelor of science degree in human resource management.

Samantha Norma Ann Osborne, daughter of Edward and Kelly Snell of Sugar Grove, has been accepted to the University of Pittsburgh at Titusville for the fall term 2012. Osborne is a 2012 graduate of Youngsville High School. Her high school activities included Youth Volunteer Corp., the honor roll, the yearbook club, and the volleyball and basketball teams.

Jennifer Baldensperger attended Gannon University and graduated May 7, 2011, with honors and received her associate's degree in radiologic technology. She also received an academic award for excellence in radiologic science and graduated at the top of her class. On May 5, 2012, Baldensperger graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor's degree in health science. She is currently employed by UPMC Shadyside in Pittsburgh as a vascular interventional radiologic technologist. She is the daughter of Kelly and Torey Kays and Ed and Sue Baldensperger.

Alexandria Morris recently completed her first year of college and was named to the dean's list for both semesters. She is currently attending Penn State University at Beaver Campus, studying secondary education. Morris is a 2011 graduate of Youngsville High School. She is the daughter of Bill and Mindi Nobles of Irvine.

Andrew G. Nagurney received his juris doctorate as part of the 100th annual Duquesne Law School graduation on June 3, 2012. He has accepted a position with the law office of Adrian N. Roe, PC, in Pittsburgh.

Zachary Abbott of Sugar Grove, son of Jodi and Rusty Ingerson and a 2012 graduate of Eisenhower High School, has been accepted to Edinboro University of Pennsylvania for the fall term. He plans to major in criminal justice.

Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences has announced that Courtney Boice from Warren earned a place on the school's dean's list for the spring 2012 semester. Dean's list status is awarded to students who have successfully completed their course work with a grade average of 3.2 or higher out of a possible 4.0 score.

Jesse Wolfgang, daughter of Carrie and Larry Wolfgang, Warren, has been accepted at Edinboro University. She plans to major in sculpture and participate in art.

John Huey, son of Martha and Greg Huey, North Warren, has been accepted at Edinboro University. He has been active in soccer, swimming, journalism, running and Frisbee. He plans to major in education (undecided) and participate in swimming and Frisbee.

Nathaniel T. Warner of Warren was named to the summer dean's list at Pennsylvania College of Technology, Williamsport, Pa. He is a student in the program of Associate of Applied Science, Information Technology: Technical Support Technology Emphasis.

Tyler McClain of Columbus has been named to the dean's list for the spring 2012 semester at Berklee College of Music, Boston, Mass. To be eligible for this honor, a full-time student must achieve a grade average of 3.4 or above; a part-time student must achieve a grade point average of 3.6 or above. The Berklee curriculum focuses on practical career preparation for today's music industry.
