Arnold "Red" Chase, 83, of 131 Chase Hollow Road, Pittsfield, PA, went to be with the Lord, Monday, August 27th, peacefully at home.
Red was born in Warren, Pa on July 26, 1929, a son of the late Mildred (Reed) Chase Marlett and Clarence Chase, and also his stepfather, Glenn Marlett.
He worked as a machine operator at the National Forge Company in Irvine for many years, retiring 21 years ago. He attended the Youngsville Free Methodist Church.

He was the husband of Donna (Gorton) Chase, whom he was married to for 63 years and who survives him. In addition to his wife, he is survived by 6 sons: Randal (Gloria) R. Chase of Warren, Stephen (Linda) W. Chase of Youngsville, Michael (Patricia) E. Chase of Garland, Douglas (Chrissie) A. Chase of Garland, Mark (Darla) D. Chase of Garland, and Dale (Lori) A. Chase of Garland; 15 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Ricky Chase, in 2005; 2 brothers, Clarence Chase, Jr. and Bernard Chase, and 2 sisters, Leona Knupp and Audrey Wil liams.
Friends will be received Wednesday from 2 4 pm at McKinney Funeral Homes in Youngsville, where a funeral service will be held at 4 pm on Wednesday, August 29th with Rev. Marcus Briggs officiating.
