BUSTI, N.Y. - Dutch Davies rallied past Rich Gardner, winning Saturday's final Super Late Model feature of the season at Busti's Stateline Speedway and winning his second straight Super Late Model championship. Gardner entered the night - in which double points were awarded - with a 53-point edge and finished seventh.
Even before the night's racing began, Dan Nocero Jr. had locked up the Super Sportsman points title leaving the race for the second spot. Runner-up Jake Eller was up to the task, winning the feature and locking up the division's runner-up spot.
Justin Carlson lost the E-Mod feature to John Woodward Jr., but won the E-Mod points title in the process. It was Woodward's third win of the season.
Second generation driver Steve Kania had to finish within five positions of runner-up Chris Ottaway to cement his first Limited Late Model title. Kania left no question unanswered, catching then passing Ottaway to win the Limited Late Model feature and points championship.
Early Crate Late Model feature leader Doug Ricotta ran afoul with Max Blair, sending both to the back of the field setting up Jason Genco for his second win of the season. Points leader Damien Bidwell clinched his first Crate Late championship title with a seventh-place finish.
Chris Withers just needed a solid finish in the Street Stock feature to become the 2012 Street Stock champion. That's exactly what he accomplished with a fourth-place run. Patrick Fielding won the feature for his second win of the season.
Chad Bender led every lap of the Super Challenger feature to win the points title in style.
