VALERIE ANN (Salisbury) KARR, age 57, of Pine Township, Wexford, originally from Warren, PA, died on Friday, August 24, 2012.
Valerie is survived by her husband of over 26 years, Russ Karr; daughters Anna and Emily, and son Vincent; brother Terry Salis bury of St. Marys, PA; sister Sue Salapek of Warren, PA; and nephew Chris Hale.Friends may be received on Tuesday, 69 p.m., at Schellhaas Funeral Home, 5864 Heckert Road, Bakerstown, 15007, where funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 10 a.m.
Val was a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh Nursing School and had a successful career at Chil dren's Hospital of Pittsburgh, where she provided nursing care in the ICU and Transport teams for 20 years.
