Edith V. Care, 90, of Warren, Pa. died Friday morning, August 24, 2012 in Warren Manor Nursing Home following an extended illness. Born November 21, 1921 in Warren to the late Paul & Vera Schall Remington, Edith was a 1939 graduate of Youngsville High School. She was coowner of West Hickory Beverage for 30 years, retiring in 1979. She was a member of the Holy Redeemer R.C. Church. Edith loved to play bingo and was a great wife, mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her husband Joseph A. Care, whom she married September 19, 1946 in Pleasantville, Pa.; a son Mike Care & wife Debbie, of Warren; a sister Geraldine Passauer & husband Melvin, of West Hickory, Pa.; two grandchildren, Ashley Elms & Lacey Criswell; two greatgrandchild ren Payton & Josephine Elms; and several nieces & nephews.

Friends may call at Holy Redeemer R.C. Church, 11 Russell St., Warren, Pa. 16365 on Monday, August 27, 2012 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., when a Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted with Msgr. John Lucas, Pastor, officiating. Interment will follow in Warren County Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be directed to Warren Cancer Center, 2 Crescent Park West, Warren, Pa. 16365 or Holy Redeemer R.C. Church.
