Golf results
The Warren General Hospital Summer Sizzler Golf Scramble was held Monday at Conewango Valley Country Club. The team of John McCracken, Mike Forslund, Ed Kinter and Jack Shields won the Men's Net Division with a score of 40.6. The second-place team included Dave Papalia, Rick Madril, Randy Mineweaser and Mike Ishman with a 42.2.
Steve Rothenberg, Scott Pearson, Dan Hartzfeld and Fred Bachus won the Men's Gross Division with a score of 55 while John Papalia, Tim Coombs, Andrew Papalia and George Lilja were second with a 56.

Valley softball champs
Park Ave. Motor Car won the Valley Girls Slow Pitch Softball League this summer. Joe Colosimo, Krystal Waite, Carrie Pearson and Tim Greenlund captured the Mixed Net Division title with a score of 36.6. Tricia Durbin, Chauncey Taylor, Karen Thomas and Jon Marti were second with a mark of 40.2.
Paul Schultz, Margie Cerra, Anthony Pellegrino and Rob Ritchie won the Mixed Gross Division with a score of 56. The team of Maurice Bennett, Phil DeFabio, Sonia Probst and Leeann Costello was second with a score of 57.

Quadrathlon
The canoeing leg of the Four Season Quadrathlon event will be held September 1-2 on Conewango Creek from the Conewango Kayak and Canoe Livery in Akeley to Larimer Park in Russell.
Created by Jean Gomory, watershed specialist for the Warren County Conservation District and Gary Lester from Family Services of Warren County, one leg of the quadrathlon is held in each season. The event is intended to be a self-guided, untimed, non-competitive way to get some exercise, learn something new and appreciate the planet.
