Dear editor:
As residents of Pleasant Township, we fully support the efforts of the township supervisors to seek ways to sustain the recycling program in the township.
Ever since we returned from a 2004 trip to Germany, where we found the countryside to be pristine, free of throwaway items, we have been recycling responsibly in the bins provided by the township.
Recycling in Warren County should be continued, in our opinion, and the Warren County commissioners should provide the requisite leadership for the program.
In these times of shrinking county, state and federal resources, why not reduce, reuse and recycle ? It is only good, practical and common sense.
