Golf results
The team of John Zawacki and Dave Brandhorst won the 2012 Senior Member-Guest Golf Tournament Saturday at Conewango Valley Country Club. The win was the first for the duo and they defeated the flight winners of the tournament in a sudden death steeplechase playoff format.
Maurice Bennett and Jack Bennett won the first flight with a score of 29.5 followed by John Villella and Frank Villella with a 22.5. Bob Metzgar and Wendell Courtney won the second flight with a 24.5 and Myron Turfitt and Jack Yates were second at 23.

All in a weekend
Fans line the edges of the Betts Park fields to watch action from the 33rd Annual Terry F. Ristau Memorial Industrial?Softball Tournament held this past weekend.
Bill Turner and Terry Sedon were the third flight winners with a 27.5 followed by Jon Marti and Steve Marti with a 24.5. Jim Phillips and Dan Hocking finished with a 28 to win the fourth flight with Jim Lopus and Terry Woodfield (25.5) in second.

Doug Spoto had low gross of 37 and low net of 28 in Senior Men's Golf League play Friday at Cable Hollow Golf Course. Dick Whiting and Paul Brink were high point takers with 8.5 and Bob Orbanic, Whiting, Jon Nelson, Dave Youngberg and Ralph D'Angelo shared the most pars with six. Spoto had two birdies during play and Floyd Reed, Cliff Jenkins, Ron Steffey, John Larson, Wayne Matve, Hank Mole, Mark Thompson and Pat Hultquist had one each.
