Harassment. Jacqueline Nicole Zaner, 24, 821 Benjamin Lane, was charged with harassment after Conewango Township Police responded to her residence on a report of a disturbance at 1:15 a.m. Saturday. According to police, Zaner caused injuries to a male victim.
DUI. Richard Redfield, 47, of Warren was arrested for DUI at 6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 4, after Conewango Township Police responded to a reported hit-and-run crash on Market Street in Warren. Police said they found Redfield to be under the influence of alcohol.
Found. A trailer hitch was found after 11 p.m. Friday on Route 6 in Starbrick. The owner may claim it by calling 726-0725 and identifying it.
Crash. Conewango Township Police reported that on August 12 at 3:13 p.m, Robert Thomas, Warren, was traveling south on Weiler Road when he lost control of his vehicle and crashed head on into a tree in front of 1940 Weiler Road. Thomas sustained an injury to the head and was lifeflighted to Erie for treatment. His passenter, Justin Johnson, sustained injury to the head as well and was treated at Warren General Hospital. Starbrick and Youngsville VFD's and EmergyCare assisted at the scene. Koebley Towing Service removed the vehicle from the scene. Thomas was charged with driving vehicle at safe speed and failure to wear a seatbelt.
Elk Twp.
Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a one vehicle accident on Scandia Road approximately 1/2 mils south of Webbs Ferry on August 12 at 2:15 p.m. The driver of a 2000 Ford Explorer, a 17 year old male, Warren, was traveling north on Scandia Road, lost control of the vehicle and traveled off the east berm and up an embankment. The left front of the vehicle then struck a large tree. The vehicle came to rest at the point of impact. All three individuals in the vehicle, the driver, Ronals Smith, Warren, and Alessandra Corticchia, Warren, were flows by helicopter to UPMC Hamot in Erie. Scandia VFD and Ambulance assisted at the scene as did Russell VFD and Ambulance and EmergyCare ambulance.
Glade Twp.
Crash. A Warren woman was charged with a safe speeds violation after a one-vehicle crash at 2:17 p.m. Thursday on Quaker Hill Road. According to Warren-based state police, Samantha L. Hussey, 24, of Warren was driving east and lost control of her vehicle on a right-hand curve. Police said the vehicle left the road, struck an embankment, rolled over, and came to rest on its wheels. Hussey was taken by Emergycare Ambulance to Warren General Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. Fire police, Warren City Police, and members of Glade volunteer firefighters assisted at the scene.
Freehold Twp.
Crash. The driver involved in a one-car crash at 4:45 p.m. Saturday on Route 958 was charged with a safe speeds violation. According to Warren-based state police, Norman H. Jacobs, 85, of Natrona Heights, was northbound on Route 958 when he lost control of his car on a curve. The car left the road and entered a ditch, went about 50 more feet in the ditch, and struck a mail box, before Jacobs regained control of the car and got it back on the road, police said.
