Sigrid D Christensen, 91, of 419 Waterford Street, Edinboro, Pa., and formerly of Kane and Warren, Pa., passed away on Wednes-day, August 8, 2012 at Edinboro Manor.
Sigrid was born April 28, 1921, in Kane, Pa., the daughter of the late Charles and Ethel Antonson Dutchess. She proudly served in the US Army as a Technical Sergeant during WWII. Sigrid was a member of the Asbury United Methodist Church in Erie, Pa, where she was active in the Women's Society of the Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Debra Fromen and husband, Paul, Merritt Island, FL; two sisters, Mar-tha Anderson, Warren, Pa. and Marion Blomquist and husband, Gordon, Ham-burg, NY; two grandchil-dren Anthony and Teresa Fromen; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death in May 2004 by her husband, Andrew Christensen; a sister, Ethyl-mae Sly; and two brothers, Elmer and Gary Dutchess.
Friends will be received at the Peterson - Blick Fun-eral Home, Inc., 1003 Penn Ave., E., Warren, on Mon-day, August 13, for one hour prior to a funeral ser-vice to be held there on Monday, August 13 at 11 a.m., with Rev. Rick Ham-rick, pastor, Youngsville Free Methodist Church, of-ficiating.
Burial will be in Warren County Memorial Park.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to a charity of choice.
