It was a good night to hit for the cycle in the Valley Girls Slow Pitch Softball League.
First, Kristi Bennett did it for CTI Physical Therapy/United Refining in a 20-6 win over Crescent Beer. Jen Jones also had four hits for the winners - including two home runs, and Julie Chase was 3-for-3. Rachel Tellinghuisen had three hits for Crescent Beer.
Kayla Hultberg hit for the cycle for Results Rehab, but this game went a little longer. Tammy Spear was also 4-for-4 in Results' 32-24 win over AC/CJ's. Crystal Russell had a homer and two doubles for Results. Heather Walker had four hits in the loss.

It was also a god night for Park Ave. Motor Car, which clinched the regular-season championship with one week to go with a 24-4 win over The Rouse. Kellie McClement and Emma West were each 4-for-4 for Park Ave., which scored 18 runs in the first inning, and Corrie Bednez was 5-for-5 with two doubles. Cassie Mason had a home run and double for undefeated Park Ave.
Cheryl Leonard was 5-for-5 with two triples to help Crescent Beer bounce back from its loss to second-place CTI to clinch third in a 15-11 win over Mike's Townline Service. Sadie Billingslea, Melissa Clark and Heather Cressley had four hits each for Crescent.
