August 6, 2012
The Times Observer

Warren City Police are investigating two strong-armed robberies of local businesses that occurred Saturday.

According to police, the Kwik Fill at 600 Pennsylvania Ave. E. was robbed at 3:41 p.m. and the Subway at 71 Market Street was robbed at 7:54 p.m.

Police said both robberies were committed by the same suspect, who changed his clothing between the two robberies. Initially, police said, the suspect wore a white t-shirt with khaki shorts and then a black t-shirt with black shorts.

The suspect is described as a white male in his late 30s with dirty blonde to light brown hair and a mustache. The suspect is approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall with a stocky build.

Police said the suspect, who did not show a weapon during either robbery, possibly left the scene in a black pickup truck with an undetermined amount of money.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the city police at 723-2700 or Warren County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-83CRIME.
