Ron and Sandie Ringel celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at Tidioute Fire Hall on June 9. Ronald and Sandra Sveda Ringel were married on May 12, 1962, at St. John Roman Catholic Church in Tidioute by the Rev. Arthur Fleckenstein.
The affair was hosted by their children and grandchildren. Music was provided by Don Williams of the Don Williams Polka Revue WWDH 97.5 The Hound and by Hap Dorrin and friends, Dick and Jimmy.
Friends were invited to the Ringel home for a bonfire to close out the evening.

Family and friends attended from Oregon, California, Texas, Ohio and Illinois and from Pittsburgh, Erie, Titusville, Youngsville, Warren and Tidioute. Four members of the original wedding party were present for the celebration.
