Denise Marie Leonard 41, Warren, Pa., passed away suddenly on Wednes-day, August 1, 2012 following a brief illness.
Denise was born July 21, 1971, in Warren, Pa., the daughter of the late Dennis and Georgia Bish Leonard. She was a lifelong resident of the Warren area and had been employed as a home healthcare aide at various local agencies over the last ten years. She loved to cook and her secret recipe for cooked carrots will be especially missed by those who had the opportunity to taste them. Denise was known to her daughter's friends as a caring, compassionate listener and was known as "Big Mama" to those who loved her best.
She is survived by her two beloved daughters, Jaquelynn Leonard (20) and Ashlee Leonard (18), and also Denise's husband, Skyler MacLees, all of War-ren. Denise is also survived by her brother, David Leonard and his wife Cheryl, nephew Matthew (12), and niece Courtney (12) Leonard, and brother, William Leonard and his fiance Deborah, all of the Warren area.
