Audr Williams Nelson, 75, of 128 Frank St. War-ren, was ushered into the arms of her Lord and Sa-viour Jesus Christ on Tues-day, July 31, 2012 sur-rounded by her loving fam-ily as they sang her to the gates of heaven.

Audr was born on July 22, 1937 in Geneva, Pa., a daughter of the late Paul and Neva Bennett Willi-ams. She was married to Rev. James M. Nelson on Sept. 10, 1960 in Youngs-ville, Pa.

She was a graduate of Warren High School, class of 1955 and had attended Trinity Bible College in Clearwater, FLA and As-bury University in Wil-more, KY.

She faithfully served God beside her husband at the churches they had served. She was a song leader at the Spring Creek Community Church. She was instrumental in the live nativity at the Pleasantville Community Church which her husband had pastored. She was a song evangelist for many years with her sis-ter, Coral Brooks, and they were known as the singing Williams sisters.

She enjoyed spending time with her grandchil-dren, traveling, cooking, playing piano, and spend-ing time at Findley Lake.

She is survived by her husband of Warren; four daughters, Jamie Stright and husband William of Warren, Julie Beers and husband Rev. Jerome "Jerry" of Hanover, Jodie Truex and husband Rev. Jon Truex of Washington Court House, OH, and Jonie Smitley and husband Rev. Timothy Smitley, Sr. of Spring Creek; 13 grandchildren whom she prayed for daily by name, Hannah, Josiah, Jael, Jerome, Jesse, Jeremiah, Kiirsten, Lauren, Macken-zie, Natalie, Tim, Rachel, and Levi; a brother, Vin-cent Williams of James-town, NY; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Coral Brooks; three half-brothers, and three half-sisters.

Friends may call at the Pleasantville Community Church on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Further visitation will be held on Friday at the church from 10 to 11 a.m. at which time the funeral service will be conducted with Rev. Allen Young and Rev. John Beers officiating.

Interment will be in Westview Cemetery in Star-brick.

The family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Pleasantville Community Church 343 W. State St. Pleasantville, PA 16341.

The Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home 303 N. Washington St. Titusville is in charge of arrange-ments.
