Dear editor:
This is a scheme on the part of the GOP to suppress voters of color who tend to vote Democratic in elections. These are the major points:
* Every currently registered Pennsylvania voter needs to be able to vote on November 6.
* 10% of Pennsylvania voters may not be able to vote thanks to this law-10 times more than Republicans said would be impacted when they passed it.1
* Republicans said that they passed the voter ID law in part to prevent voter fraud, but they later admitted that they have no evidence of in-person voter fraud ever happening.2
* Most voters think they have the right ID and aren't even aware of the new requirements.3 We've got to fight this law and make sure everyone gets the ID they need to vote.
