Sugar Grove
Hit and Run. Warren-based state police report a black Nissan Frontier belonging to Kimberly Chauncey, Corry, was sideswiped by a white SUV-type vehicle while parked near 409 Main St., Sugar Grove. The driver of the white vehicle failed to remain at the scene of the crash and provide their information. Damage would be to the passenger side of the vehicle. Anyone with information should contact PSP-Warren or call Warren County Crime Stoppers.
Columbus Twp.
Burglary. Corry-based state police reported that on July 24, unknown individual(s) gained front-door entry to a rental building belonging to Donald Stull, 69, of Corry. A 12-inch Delta wood planer valued at $200 was removed. Anyone with information is asked to contact PSP Corry at 814-663-2043.
Farmington Twp.
Terroristic Threats. Warren-based state police responded to reported threats of violence on Stanton Hill Rd. on July 19 at 3 a.m. Police said Jordan Wilson, of Sugar Grove accused Daniel Bevevino, Russell, of threatening to kill him. A criminal compaint charging the accused with terroristic threats and harrassment was filed through District Cout 37-3-01.
Tidioute Boro
Access Device Fraud. Tidioute Borough report John McCaulley, 312 Main St., reported two unauthorized purchases made to his Sears Card in California totaling more than $1300.
Theft from motor vehicle. Jeanette Nicholson, 55 Jefferson St., contacted police to report her debit card and $20 in cash were stolen from the console of her car sometime on July 25. The exact location the theft occured is unknown due to her visiting several locations throughout the day.
Crash. Police responded to a one-vehicle crash on Grant St. at 4 p.m. July 27. Police said, the vehicle, operated by Chad McLaughlin, was traveling south at a high rate of speed when the driver lost control causing the 2000 Ford truck to leave the roadway and roll over several times before coming to a rest 131 feet down the hill. The truck is a total loss and there were no injuries reported.
