It wasn't the prettiest win Betts has ever put together, but the first-place team in the Richard T. Betts Rec Modified Softball League will take it all the same.
Betts improved to 14-0 on the season Wednesday with a lopsided 21-2 victory over Wing City at Betts Park.
Betts scored at least five runs in each of the first three innings while building a hefty lead. No one player had a bigger night that Darren Cummings who finished with a team-high three hits, including two home runs and a staggering eight RBI. One of Cummings' homers was a grand slam.
