Krista Jamerson has joined Northwest Savings Bank as Professional Development and Training Officer. Julie McTavish, Executive Vice President, Human Resources made the announcement.
In this position, Jamerson will be responsible for the design and implementation of professional development and training plans for all employees of the $8 billion bank. She will work with managers of Northwest's business divisions to uncover needs, provide direction, and guide employee development to allow employees to reach their potential and prepare for future job growth. Jamerson will facilitate programs that will attract, develop and retain emerging leaders in the company, as well as continuously improve the leadership skills of the organization's existing supervisors, managers and executives.
Jamerson joins the bank from Rosedale Technical Institute, a career and technical college, where she was the Director of Education. She received her PhD in Instructional Leadership and Management from Robert Morris University in May. Jamerson resides in Kane with her husband, Mike Jamerson, and her stepson, Kahne.
