Golf results
The team of Shannon Stevenson, Vicky Williams, Becky Carlson and Janis Bennett were the overall net champions of the 2012 Ladies American Cancer Society Golf Tournament Monday at Conewango Valley Country Club with a score of 48. The event's gross champions with a score of 68 were the team of Kelly Haaksma, Julie Fenton, Becky Carlson and Robin Kayner.

The teams of Dave Bortz and Greg Senyo and Rick Rohlin and Scott Pearson tied with a gross of 34 during Cable Hollow Golf Course Monday Scratch League action. Bortz and Senyo lead the league with 74 points. Joe Benter and Ron Lemon are in second with 72 points and Rick Rohlin and Scott Pearson round out the top three with 65 points.

Bud Moore of Sheffield recorded a hole-in-one at Pine Acres Country Club on Tuesday. Moore aced the 165 yard 13th hole using a five iron. The shot was witnessed by Mark Pappas, Gill Hoffman and Larry Ralph. It was Moore's fourth career ace and second at Pine Acres

Valley Girls
Crescent Beer earned a pair of Valley Girls Slow Pitch Softball League victories Monday at Betts Park. In a 7-2 victory over Double D's, Melissa Clark was 4-for-4, Heather Cressley tripled and Rachel Tellinghuisen doubled for the winners.
In a 12-8 win over Results Rehab, Cammy Ion, Sadie Billingslea and Cheryl Leonard were all 4-for-5 as Crescent Beer improved to 8-3 on the season.
In other action, Savanna Cochran and Tracy Morrison were each 4-for-4 and Mike's Townline Service erupted for 11 runs in the fifth inning of a 15-4 victory over The Rouse Home.
