BEATRICE DAUGHENBAUGH

Beatrice A. Daughen-baugh, 76, formerly of North East, Pa and Corry, Pa, died on Saturday, July 21, 2012, at the Rouse War-ren County Home, Youngs-ville, Pa., where she had been a resident.

She was born on January 31, 1936 in Culver, Pa., a daughter of the late Philip and Manilla Thomas Brown.

Beatrice was raised and educated in Culver, and graduated from Ebensburg High School. Her main priority was raising and car-ing for her family. She had worked at a couple of local grocery stores in North East, Pa. She had been a resident of North East, Pa for fifty years prior to liv-ing in Corry for a few years and has resided at the Rouse Home since 2005.

She was a member of the Christian & Missionary Al-liance Church in Corry and the North East Alliance Church where she had been actively involved. She en-joyed spending time with her friends and family, especially her grand-daughter and liked going shopping, out to lunch and picnics. Beatrice had been a volunteer at the North East food pantry and was an avid collector of chick-en nick- nacks.

In addition to her parents, Beatrice was pre-ceded in death on July 12, 2008 by her husband, Russell D. Daughenbaugh, whom she married in Johns-town, Pa., on March 6, 1954, a sister Lois Reed and a brother Harold Brown.

Beatrice is survived by two daughters; Tracey Pas-cuzzi and her husband Scott of Warren, Pa., and Tammy Daughenbaugh of Corry, Pa., two sons; Harry "Bud" Daughenbaugh of Phoenix, Az., and Terry Daughenbaugh and his wife Bonnie of North East, Pa., a brother Fred Brown and his wife Barb of North East, Pa., and a grand-daughter. She is also sur-vived by several nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to call at the Bracken Funeral Home, 315 N. Center St., Corry, Pa., on Tuesday from 2 till 4 p.m. and 6 till 8 p.m. and attend the funeral ser-vice at the North East Alli-ance Church, 81 N. Main St., North East, Pa., on Wednesday at 11 a.m. Rev. Marvin Hutchison, will of-ficiate.

Burial will be in Gra-hamville Cemetery, North East, Pa.
