Jane L. Frits, 88, of Edinboro died Friday, July 6, 2012 surrounded by her loving family and friends at Edinboro Manor. She was born in Grove City, Pa. on November 4, 1923 and lived in Warren, and Lake-land, FL until her move to Edinboro. Jane was always a wonderful, loving, sup-portive mother who had a sweet, positive attitude that she maintained throughout her life. Daughter of the late John and Fleda McWil-liams McNees.
She was preceded in death by her beloved hus-band George M. Frits, Jr.; two brothers Robert and Paul McNees; two sisters Lulu Faull and Marie Ship-ton.
Survivors include her daughters, Francine Rifkin and her husband Larry of Saginaw, MI; Pamela Pol-car and her husband Jack of Chagrin Falls, OH; and Mary Anne Strand and her husband Jim of Edinboro; sister Eva Holmes Grove City, Pa.; also nine grandchildren, David (Jen-ifer) Rifkin, Jennifer (Da-vid) Jaffe, Jeffrey (Court-ney) Polcar, Bethany (Matt) Schmittel, Thomas (Court-ney) Polcar, Katie (Jim) Ramey, and Sara, Jessica and Jimmy Strand and thir-teen great-grandchildren.
