'Your editorial of July 12th was a real eye-opener! The statistic of ZERO convictions of voter fraud over the past 5 years confirms my belief about the new voter ID law.
There is rampant voter fraud going on, but Governor Corbett is aiming at the wrong target. The real voter fraud does not occur when we go to the polls. It only shows up years later when the officials we've elected are caught, tried and convicted! I believe Pennsylvania led the nation in the past year in number of legislators and judges convicted of criminal actions - including violations of election laws. And, in a demonstration of true bi-partisanship, both Republicans and Democrats are in the cooler (it would be nice if they also had to share cells).
The goal of both Parties in fighting voter fraud should be to give us candidates with the qualities of BOTH intelligence AND integrity.
