SALLY MORRISON

Sally Jean Morrison, 55, of Chestnut Street, Warren, Pa., passed away on Sun-day, July 15, 2012 at War-ren General Hospital fol-lowing a lengthy illness.

Sally was born March 16, 1957, in Warren, the daughter of the late Walter and Janet Lauffer Ander-son. She was employed at the Warren State Hospital as a Therapeutic Recreation Aide, from which she re-tired in 2009 due to illness. She was a member of the North Warren Presbyterian Church, and had recently started attending First Pres-byterian Church of Warren. She was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Post 135 for 15 years. Sally was an avid PEZ collector and enjoyed playing cards and bingo. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and especially her grandchil-dren.

She is survived by her husband, John L. Morrison, whom she married on Au-gust 7, 1998; her daughter, Pam Colvin and husband, Robert, Warren, Pa., Brian Davis and wife, Katie, also of Warren, Pa., and Nathan C. Markham, Russell, Pa., eight grandchildren; broth-er, James B. Anderson, War-ren, Pa; and six nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two sisters, Becky L. Covell and San-dra L. Conquer.

Friends will be received at the Peterson - Blick Fun-eral Home, Inc., 1003 Penn Ave., E., Warren, on Wednesday, July 18, from, 6 to 8 p.m., and for one hour prior to a funeral ser-vice to be held there on Thursday, July 19 at 11 a.m., with The Rev. Kirk Johnston, pastor, First Pres-byterian Church, officiat-ing.

Burial will be in Oak-land Cemetery, Warren, Pa.
