Troy Jackson had the low net score of 30 in Tuesday 2-Man Golf League play at Cable Hollow Golf Club. Gary Page and Justin Kell lead the league with 128.5 points, Greg Certo and Steve Stoeltzing are second with 128 points and Gary Darling and Steve Darling are third with 126.5 points.

The team of Bucky Hilyer and Nat Perkins had the low net score of 33 in the Tuesday Fitch Disposal Scramble League at Cable Hollow Golf Club. The team of Darrell Pusateri and Sam Pusateri leads the league with 72.5 points, Ryan Stanton and Denny Munksgard are second with 70.5 points and the duos of Troy Allen and Craig Stewart and Rob Grubbs and Tom Sixt shared third with 69.5 points.

Tennis news

Warren's Jeff Nuhfer has been certified in Adult Development by Professional Tennis Registry (PTR). PTR is the largest global organization of tennis teachers and coaches. A comprehensive exam is used to determine each member's rating and Nuhfer originally tested at 92 percent, receiving the Associate Instructor rating. Soon after, he chose to re-test and scored perfect, earning him the Professional Instructor rating.

Correction

Michael Patz was pictured performing an "ollie" skateboarding trick on page B-1 of Friday's?Times Observer.

He was incorrectly identified as Matt Kuzminski in the caption for the photograph.
