For those of you who don't know us, on April 14th, while in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, my husband, Dan, took a fall of about 25 feet, landed on his head, and suffered a severe head trauma. For the complete story, go to www.caringbridge.org/visit/danchurch.
Since then, we have been blessed with an enormous amount of love. I wanted to take a second to thank everyone for their most recent support at the local fundraiser at Jackson Valley Country Club. In our darkest hour it has been so uplifting to witness the overwhelming compassion that our friends, family, and even people we have never met, have shown us.
Not only has it been a blessing for us, but we are so thankful that Ryder and Kodi (our two children) have been able to take in what a community does for each other. Dan and I truly look forward to continuing that lesson by paying the kindness forward throughout our life. Please know that the compassion and kindness we have been surrounded by will not be forgotten.
