Crescent Beer is 9-0 after a 10-3 Over 30 Modified Softball League win on Tuesday over Bullpen.
Brian Swanson had two doubles, and several nice defensive plays in the outfield, for Bullpen, which scored five runs in the third and four more in the fifth.
Jeff Berdine had three hits for Crescent, and Mike Massa and Troy Johnson added two hits each in the win.

Staying alive
Crescent Beer batter Brian Haines fouls off a 3-2 pitch to stay alive during an at-bat against Bullpen in Over 30 Modified Softball League play Tuesday at Betts Park.
Dan Farr hit his third homer for Crescent.
R.J. Bowers was 3-for-3 with a double and triple in the loss for Bullpen (3-6).
Eric Anderson was 4-for-4, and Mel Eggleston had an inside-the-park home run, for Midtown Motors (7-1) in a 17-7 win over Kwik Fill.
Butch Johnston was 4-for-5 with a triple, Dave Bancroft 3-for-3, and Dave Cressley and Tim Prelog homered for American Legion in an 18-8 win over Club Buck.
Ken Frank's three-run homer highlighted a 10-run second inning for Mangione Beverage in a 13-2 victory over Freddie's. Ed Baldensperger scattered four hits in the win and Jim Dickson finished 2-for-3 for the winners. Bill Rook was 2-for-2 with a pair of doubles for Freddie's.
Jay Kuzminski was 4-for-4 with two doubles and a home run for Accent Staffing in a 14-6 win over Buckhorn.
