Crash. Conewango Township police responded to a motor vehicle accident at approximately 7:45 a.m. on July 10. Police said Donald Osborne, Warren, was traveling west on Jackson Run Road when he lost control of his vehicle when swerving to miss a deer. His vehicle left the roadway and struck a guide rail which caused his vehicle to become airborne, landing on its roof over the road embankment. North Warren volunteer firefighters and EmergyCare assisted at the scene. Police said Osborne has been cited for driving on roadways laned for traffic.
Crash. Conewango Township police responded to a motorcycle accident on Preston Road at 6:21 p.m. on July 9. Police said Jeffery McKinney, Youngsville, told them that he was traveling on Preston Run when he went off the roadway and lost control of the motorcycle. McKinney was ejected and came to rest in the opposing lane of traffic. McKinney was transported to Warren General Hospital for a minor head injury. Police said Kinney was charged with one summary count of roadways laned for traffic; charges have been filed with District Justice Laura Bauer.
Deerfield Twp.
Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a one-vehicle crash on Dunns Eddy Road west of Althom Road. A 1997 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Darren Smith, Waterford, was traveling east on Dunns Eddy when he lost control of the vehicle and traveled off the northern berm of Dunns Eddy Road. After leaving the roadway, the vehicle overturned over the bank and came to rest on its roof. The vehicle suffered disabling damage and was towed from the scene. Smith and his two passengers, were not injured. Police said Smith was charged with driving vehicle at safe speed.
Glade Twp.
Theft. Warren-based state police reported that someone stole multiple steel beams from property belonging to Carl Devlieger in the area of Cobham Park Road. Total estimated loss is $800. Anyone with information is asked to call the state police or the Warren County Crime Stoppers.
Pittsfield Twp.
Arrest. Officers of the Warren County Adult Probation Department arrested Rose McEvoy, Garland, on July 9 on charges of violation of probation. McEvoy, who was originally placed on probation on a charge of disorderly conduct, was arrested on a supervisor's warrant and committed to the Warren County Jail pending further court action.
Pleasant Twp.
Criminal mischief. Warren-based state police are investigating an incident that occurred on Arlington Drive between July 6 at 10 p.m. and July 12 at 8 a.m. Someone entered the property of Stephen Axel Hultman and wrote with a black Sharpie marker on the driver's side door of a 2012 Toyota truck that was parked in his driveway. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police or the Warren County Crime Stoppers.
Criminal mischief. Warren-based state police are investigating an incident that occurred on Linda Lane on July 7 between 2 and 9 a.m. Someone entered a property belonging to Jodie Marie Patchen and threw eggs at her house window.
