BUSTI, N.Y. - The second attempt to complete the Applebee Motorsports UEMS E-Mod Invasion will happen this Saturday at Stateline along with the Morgan Family Street Stock Special.
The qualifying for the Invasion was complete on June 2 when rain interrupted competition before it could be completed. The starting line-up for the $5,000 to win 40-lap main feature and the non-qualifiers race have been set. New cars allowed to join the non-qualifiers feature and non-qualifiers will be allowed to fill any openings in the main.
Kyle Inman, Darien N.Y., Warren's Dan Davies, Franklinville N.Y.'s John Woodard, Painesville Ohio's Brian Douglas and Olean N.Y.'s Randy Hall will start up front in the main. Ischua N.Y.'s Rich Michael Jr. and Ashville N.Y.'s Alex Froman will be on the front row for the non-qualifiers 30-lap race.
The Street Stock division will also run in a special event sponsored by the Morgan family. Chris Withers, Waterford, is the current Street Stock points leader and has completely dominated the winners circle with eight consecutive wins. Veteran Brian Crandall from Stockton N.Y. is second and Limestone N.Y.'s Richard Wojtowicz Jr. is third.
Waterford's Rich Gardner is the Super Late Model points leader with Franklinville N.Y.'s Greg Oakes second.
Eldred's Damian Bidwell is the Crate Late Model leader. Bidwell notched his second win of the season last Saturday. Stockton N.Y.'s Bob Dorman is194 points back in second followed by Jamestown N.Y.'s Jason Genco and Olean N.Y.'s John Haggerty.
Dustin Eckman, Erie, won last Saturday, matching points leader Steve Kania in the win column. Eckman now sits third in the points. Chris Ottaway is second, but is 108 points behind Waterford's Kania.
Dan Nocero Jr., Jamestown N.Y.,, is the Super Sportsman leader followed by Sherman N.Y.'s Ben Burgess Jr. and Stockton N.Y.'s Chad Bender is the Super Challenger leader.
