Golf results

Bob Hunter and Troy Jackson both had low net of 34 in Cable Hollow Golf Course Tuesday Night Two Man League action. With 116.5 points, Gary Page and Justin Kell are in first place, Gary Darling and Steve Darline are in second with a score of 115 and Gregg Kolstee and Roger VanEvery II round out the top three with 113 points.

The team of Tom Grubbs and Rob Sixt had the low net for the night with a 31 in Fitch Dispital Tuesday Night Scramble League at Cable Hollow Golf Course. The teams of Darrell Pusateri and Sam Pusateri and Ryan Stanton and Denny Munksguard are tied for first place in the league standings with a score of 66.5 Craig Allen and Troy Stewart are in second with a 64 and Grubbs and Sixt are in third with 63 points.

The team of Dave Walde, Robbin Price, Lana Creal and Drew Creal won the Conewango Valley Country Club July 4th Tournament with a score of 123, with each pair scoring 28 points. The second place team, Dr. Bob Follett, Ann Follett, Bart Jensen and Tammy Jensen, scored 16 points per couple and fisnished with a score of 127. Col. Don Subia and Hallie Dubia along with Maurice Bennett and Sonia Probost each scored 10 points and finished with a score of 128.

Mary Mackey's 44 was low gross and tournament winner in Ladies Thursday Morning Cable Hollow League at Cable Hollow Golf Course. Sue Sumner fired a 30 for low net.

Soccer matches scheduled

The 18th annual Over and Under 200 Soccer Matches will take place beginning at 1 p.m. on Sunday July 8 at War Memorial Field in Warren. The event is open to the public. The matches will pit teams of soccer players whose total ages exceed 200 against players whose combined ages total less than 200.

The first match, at 1 p.m., will feature a women's team of alumni verses varsity-age players. The second, slated to start at 3 p.m. will feature a team of high school-aged players against an alumni team comprised of past graduates from local high schools, members of the original Warren team that was founded in 1979 and current "Under 90" recreational players.

All-Star Update
