Shots fired in Warren

The City of Warren Police Department is investigating the possible discharge of a firearm within the City Limits on the evening of July 3rd into the Morning of July 4th in the East Fifth Ave area. Police were dispatched to a residence on Fifth Ave and found a fired pistol slug on the resident's front sidewalk in front of his porch to his residence. Officers found that explosions were heard during the evening but it was unknown if they were fireworks or gunshots at the time.
