Kayla Kraft, Missy Snyder and Alicia Corey were all 4-for-5 and Park Avenue Motor Car backed up its Valley Girls Slow Pitch Softball League Tournament win Saturday with a close 13-11 victory over Mike's Townline Monday at Betts Park.
It took all Park Avenue had to remain unbeaten on the season. Snyder, Jen Neall and Cyndie Page all doubled for the winners who were able to overcome a double and homer from Savanna Cochran and a triple from Kristy Goldthwaite.
Kellie McClement earned the win for Park Avenue.

Valley?Girls tournament champs
Park Avenue Motor Car outscored its competition, 52-17, while going undefeated during the Valley?Girls Slow Pitch Softball League Tournament held Saturday at Betts Park. Kristen Sheldon, Carissa Stuart and Margo Madigan were all 3-for-4 in defeat.
In other action, Trekia Swab was 5-for-5 with a double as AC/CJ's handed the Rouse Home a 15-3 loss. Mel Jones added a double and homer for the winners and Casey Walters went deep for the Rouse in defeat.
