Defiant trespass. Conewango Township Police were called to Wal-mart by the store's loss prevention personnel, who reported that Heather N. Smith was banned from the property on Nov. 3, 2011 but has failed to comply with that order. Smith was charged with one count of misdemeanor defiant trespass. Charges have been filed with District Justice Laura Bauer.
Hit and run. Conewango Township Police report that a silver four-door car driven by an elderly man backed into a car was was legally parked in the Dollar Tree parking lot in the Warren Commons. The parked car was occupied by a Warren woman and two juveniles. The silver car then left the scene. The parked car received minor damage. Police are asking anyone with information on the incident to contact them.
Russell
Criminal mischief: Warren-based state police are investigating an incident between May15 and May27 in which a bicycle owned by Sara Jordan of Russell was left at another residence. While the bike was there, three known juveniles threw it into Conewango Creek. The bike received damage to the handle bars and the seat and moderate water damage. Charges are pending.
Mead Twp.
Burglary. Warren-based state police reported they received a complaint on June 29 that someone entered a camp at 707 Six Mile Road, Tiona, owned by Thomas Eugene Slatter of Perrysburg, Ohio. The suspects stayed at the camp for an unknown period of time, slept in the beds, cooked and turned on electric and water during an undetermined period. Anyone with information on the incident has been asked to call state police or Warren County Crime Stoppers. The investigation is continuing.
Forest Co.
Recovered stolen vehicle. Marienville-based state police report that a blue over grey Ford F250 pickup towing a red 16-foot box trailer was recovered at the Pennsylvania General Energy facility in Pigeon on June 29. The truck and trailer were reported stolen from Sheffield. Suspects are two known 16-year-old juveniles, one 5-foot, 9 inches, 130 pounds with brown eyes and short brown hair, and the other, a 16-year-old juvenile, 5 foot 3 inches, 160 pounds with blue eyes and brown hair. They may be traveling with a third 17-year-old mail, 5 feet five inches, 115 pounds, with brown eyes and short brown hair. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police at Marienville or Sheffield Police Department.
