Crescent Beer scored in every inning en route to an 18-2 five-inning win on Thursday over Kwik Fill in the Over 30 Modified Softball League at Betts Park.
Jeff Berdine and Mark Massa each had three hits to pace Crescent, which is 8-0 on the season. Rick Eaton, Jeff McMeans, Troy Johnson, Jon Gerarde and Eric Rosequist had two hits each in the win. Rosequist had a double and home run. Eaton scattered seven hits for the complete-game win.
In other action, Bullpen got three hits each from Ron Thomas, Ted Nuttall and John Paul in a 13-4 victory over Club Buck. Thomas had a double and a triple and Scott Blum doubled twice for the winners. Bob Buck doubled and Ron Rhodes tripled in defeat.
In a close one, Kevin Bidwell robbed a potential home run to end the game for Freddie's in a 9-8 win over American Legion.
Buckhorn is 6-2 after a 17-5 win over Meridien.
