Warren

Simple assault. Warren City police reported that Carrie S. Morrissey, Warren, was taken into custody and charged on June 22 at 9:56 p.m. after officers were dispatched to her apartment for a domestic dispute. Police said she has been charged with simple assault and harassment.

Public drunkenness. Warren City police reported that Richard W. Lieb, Topsham, Vt., was cited on June 21 at 2:12 p.m. after emergency services were dispatched to the intersection of Beech Street and Pennsylvania Avenue for a reported male down in the roadway. Lieb was found to be highly intoxicated. Police said he was charged with public drunkenness.

Public drunkenness. Warren City police reported that Nick H. Campbell was cited on June 22 at 6:50 a.m. after he was passed out in a bush in the 200 block of Pennsylvania Avenue East. Police said he was charged with public drunkenness.

Arrest. Pennsylvania State Constables arrested Joseph A. Krail, Pittsfield, on June 22 at noon on a warrant for felony aggravated assault issued by District Justice Glenn Carlson. Krail was taken before Carlson and released on $50,000 unsecured bail.

Conewango Twp.

Arrest. Pennsylvania State Constables arrested Jason E. Kennedy, Jamestown, N.Y., in North Warren on June 15 at 9 a.m. on a warrant for felony forgery, theft by unlawful taking and theft by receiving stolen property issued by District Justice Laura Bauer. Kennedy was taken before Bauer and remanded to the Warren County Jail on $50,000 bond.

Arrest. Pennsylvania State Constables arrested Raymond E. Blair III, Little Valley, N.Y., on a warrant for three counts of theft by deception and three counts of bad checks issued by District Justice Laura Bauer. Blair was taken before Bauer and remanded to the Warren County Jail.

Pleasant Twp.

Receiving stolen property. Warren-based state police reported that on June 25 at 4:07 a.m., three suspects a 16-year-old male from Sheffield, a 16-year-old male from Slippery Rock and a 17-year-old male from Prospentz, Pa., were in possession of a 1994 Chevrolet Blazer which crashed on Chapman Dam Road. The suspects fled the scene of the crash. The state police said they conducted a search of the area without results. The vehicle was determined to be stolen out of Mercer County. Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of these individuals is asked to call the state police or Warren County Crime Stoppers.

Sugar Grove Twp.

Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a one-vehicle crash on Murray Hill Road, east of Stillison Hill Road, on June 24 at 10:30 p.m. A 2001 Chevrolet Silverado driven by David R. Johnson, Bear Lake, was traveling east on Murray Hill Road and a deer allegedly entered the roadway. Police said Johnson swerved to miss the deer, lost control and went off the south ride of the roadway, striking a tree in the center of the truck's grill. The vehicle rotated slightly clockwise and struck two additional trees with the left side, before coming to rest. Police said Johnson left the scene of the crash and did not contact the police, and no deer was found at the crash scene. Police said Johnson was not wearing a seat belt and will be charged with several traffic citations, including leaving the scene of a crash, moving violations and not wearing a seat belt.
