Bernice E. Whippo, 87, a resident of the Corry Manor, Corry, PA. died there Monday morning, June 25, 2012 after a brief illness. She was born De-cember 31, 1924 in Youngsville, PA. to the late Guy and Edna Hedstrand McIntyre. She has resided most of her life in Corry. She was a 1942 graduate of Youngsville High School. Bernice was employed with the former Raymonds and now known as Corry Federal Credit Union as a Teller and Loan Officer re-tiring after 28 years service. She was a member of the Corry Church of the Na-zarene.
She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Clair M. Whippo whom she mar-ried June 22, 1974 in Cor-ry, PA, 8 Children David Whippo and wife, Karen of Erie, PA., Caroll Humphrey and husband, Tom of Glas-gow, KY, Marjorie White and husband, Homer of Al-bany, NY, Paula Trisket and husband, John of Cor-ry, PA, Candace Frontera and husband, John of Un-ion City, PA., Alana Holen-beck and companion Jim Holcomb of Warren, PA., Robin Williams and hus-band, Mike of Corry, PA., Teena Chiricuzio and com-panion John of Sunset Bay, NY, 1 Sister Delores Wheatley of Monroe, WA., many Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her 1st hus-band, Frank Chiricuzio, 1 Son William Chiricuzio, 2 Brothers Duane and John McIntyre and grand-son, Todd Harvey. A memorial service will be announced at a later date and time. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Pittsfield, PA. The Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., Warren, PA. has been entrusted with funeral ar-rangements.
