Golf results
RalphE's Pub, made up of Rich Zydonik, Larry Brown, Clifford Jenkins and Mark Bevevino, won the mid-season tournament on Monday of the Monday Blueberry Senior League. The team finished with a net of 31. WACOPSE won the first half.
Youth soccer
The Kinzua U-19 boys traveling soccer team won the U-19 age bracket this weekend at the Open Tournament at Edinboro University, going 4-0-1.
In a 3-1 game-one win, Josiah Blick, Hunter Mohney and Christian Harrington scored goals, with assists by Joey Close and Tyler Madigan. In a 1-1 tie against Woodland Hills, Blick scored Kinzua's lone goal on an assist from Madigan. Harrington and Tyler Mealy each scored in a 2-1 win in game three.
In the semifinals, Kinzua took down Freeport, 3-1, with Harrington notching two goals and Blick adding a third. Madigan and Mealy each had assists. Kinzua defeated Montour in the championship game in overtime, 1-0, with Bryce Bauer scoring the winning goal on a header. Blick earned the assist. Will Cole stood out in goal while recording the shutout.
