An evening of classical violin with Cody Hiller

Violinist Cody Hiller will perform at 7 p.m. Friday, June 29, in Warren at First Lutheran Church, 109 West Third Ave., Warren. The program will include the "Devil's Trill Sonata in G minor" by Giuseppe Tartini, "Legend" by Henri Wieniawski, and "Violin Concerto No. 5 in a minor" by Henri Vieuxtemp. Accompanist will be Ron McEntire. Hiller is a violin performance major at Baldwin-Wallace University. He began playing the violin at age 5, and studied during his junior high and high school years at SUNY Fredonia with Janet Sung and James Kontrabecki.

The program is open to the public without charge, but donations will be accepted.
