Ted Frase Corbett, 63, of Timmonsville, S.C., form-erly of Kane and Warren, died Friday, June 22, 2012 at the McLeod Hospice House in Florence, S.C.
Born March 26, 1949 in Kane, he was the son of James and Miriam Frase Corbett.
Methodist by faith, Mr. Corbett grew up in Kane, then moved to Warren where he worked for Penelec until the 1990's, when he moved to South Carolina.
He was a self-employed mechanic and carpenter; and bought and sold cars, and enjoyed restoring cars.
Surviving are his father of Batavia, N.Y.; a son John Corbett of Kane; a daughter Christine Miko of Warren; two brothers, Ken Corbett of Darlington, S.C. and Jim Corbett in Las Vegas, and seven grandchildren. He is also survived by his signifi-cant other, Debbie Oster-burg of Darlington.
Preceding him in death, besides his mother, is a son, Ted F. Corbett.
Friends may attend a graveside service at 2:00 on Wednesday at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Kane with the Rev. W. Craig Smith, pastor of the Mt. Jewett - Hazel Hurst United Methodist Churches, offi-ciating, with interment to follow.
