In a busy week for the Warren County Trap League, second-half action got underway and the second-place finisher from the season's first half was determined in a shoot-off.
In the shoot-off, Pine Grove clinched the first half's runner-up spot with a 336-327 victory over Sugar Grove II. In the opening week of the league's second half, Corry nipped Sugar Grove II, 340-337, Tidioute topped Brokenstraw, 340-337, Kalbfus clipped Sugar Grove I, 342-338 and Pine Grove got past Sheffield, 342-330.
Corry's Charlie Berkhous and Greg Linden, Tidioute's Tal Young and Ken Anderson, Pine Grove's Ray Lee and Sheffield's Joe Leichtenberger all had perfect scores of 50 during the week. Sheffield's Lonny Heeter had his first 25 straight.
Sugar Grove I's Jim Hannon was high senior vet with a 49, Anderson and Lee shared high vet marks with 50's and Corry's Ashley Walton, Sugar Grove I's Tiffany Decker, Tidioute's Taylor Hansen and Pine Grove's Cindy Cable all shared high lady marks with 47's. Sugar Grove I's Ethan Black was high junior with a 49 and Kalbfus' Michael McDunn and Pine Grove's Eric Cecco shared high sub-junior scores with 49's
