Rec softball
Trevor White and Glenn Morse were both 3-for-3 and Crescent Beer exploded for six runs in the sixth inning during a 12-9 Richard T. Betts Rec Modified Softball League win Wednesday at Betts Park. Nick Bryan doubled and homered for the winners, which overcame a pair of homers from Wing City's Josh Daniels in a losing effort to split two games on the night (lost to Betts, which was reported in Thursday's Times Observer).
