Bernice L. Smith. 80, a resident of the Rouse War-ren Co. Home, passed away there on Sunday, June 17, 2012.
She was born January 19, 1932 in Youngsville, a daughter of the late Carl and Genevieve (Travis) Smith. Bernice enjoyed children, Nascar Racing and the Pittsburgh Steelers.
She is survived by a brother Charles (Rose) Smith of Youngsville, 2 sis-ters, Ruth (Rodger) Rey-nolds of Youngsville and Ora Orinko of Warren, and a sister in law LaVonne Smith of Little Rock, AK., and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother Joe Smith, sisters, Carol Sey-bert and Genette Smith and a infant sister Norma Smith.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Nelson Funeral Home & Cremation Ser-vices, 314 N. Main St. in Youngsville with the Rev. Marcus Briggs, chaplain of the Rouse Warren Co. Home officiating. Friends will be received one half hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in the Chandlers Valley Cemetery.
