Michael Roland Duffy, beloved husband and fa-ther, 48, of Smethport, left for Heaven Thursday (June 14, 2012).
He was born Nov 22, 1963 in Olean, NY, a son of the late James McKean Duffy and the late Joan Carol Hosmer. He was also the son of Patricia Duffy-Leach of Tiona, PA and Leonard "Hoby" Hos-mer of Smethport. He was married to Wanda W. Prosser-Stewart, who sur-vives, for 28 years.
Mr. Duffy was a 1982 graduate of Smethport Area High School. He was President and Co-Owner of Duffy Inc. of Smethport, where he had worked since he was a little boy.

He loved spending time with his wife and family. He loved stock car racing, dirt bikes with his kids, working on his pond with his wife, spending time on the boat in Florida with his wife, and visiting in Ken-tucky and Philadelphia with the rest of his family, having a great time.
He was a member of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church, Smethport.
In addition to his wife and step-parents, he is sur-vived by six children: Lacy J. (Anna) Stewart, Jamie L., Jenna H., Jessica F., Tristen M., and Jimmy M.M. Duffy, all of Smethport, three grandchildren: Ryan C. Burdick of Smethport; Anna L. and Shelby R. Stewart, both of Port Al-legany, three sisters: Joyce (Jim) Dodge and Kelly (Bob) Dixon, both of Smethport, PA, and Colleen Duffy of Lewis Run, two brothers: Leroy (Carol) Duffy and James (Ronda) Duffy, both of Smethport, PA, one step-brother: Paul Duffy of Arcola, VA, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. at Hartle-Tarbox Funeral Homes, Inc., 2 Bank St., Smethport, PA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be concelebrated at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, June 19, in St. Elizabeth of Hun-gary Church, Smethport, with the Rev. Theodore Marconi and the Rev. Vin-cent Cieslewicz. Committal will be in Norwich Cemetery, Colegrove. A Christian Wake service will be held in the funeral home on Monday at 3:30 P.M.
Memorials, if desired, may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
