Warren
Theft. Warren City police reported that Casey W. Gardiner, Warren, has been charged by criminal complaint after they received a report of employee theft from the Holiday Inn. Gardiner allegedly took a blue Ozone generator and three uniform shirts from his employer on May 13. Police said he has been charged with theft by unlawful taking.
Harassment. Warren City police reported that a non-traffic citation was filed charging Troy J. Darr, Warren, with harassment after he contacted his ex-wife by phone on June 12 at 4:18 p.m. Police said that Darr has previously been instructed by her, police officers and a certified letter to have no further contact with her.
Deerfield Twp.
Burglary update. Warren-based state police reported that charges were filed against Cody Ryan Johnson, Pittsfield, on June 13 stemming from a burglary at a camp on Youngsville Road. Johnson has been charged with theft by unlawful taking (motor vehicle), two counts of criminal attempt to commit theft by unlawful taking (motor vehicles), corruption of minors and criminal mischief. Police said the charges were filed after an investigation into a stolen ATV as well as an attempt to steal two additional ATVs from the camp. An arrest warrant was issued and served on June 13. Johnson was arraigned before District Justice Glenn Carlson on June 13 and bail was set at $50,000 unsecured.
Youngsville
Access device fraud. Warren-based state police reported that a known female from Youngsville placed an order with M's Itzy Bitzy Boutique, Stephenville, Texas, owned by Amy Mathis on May 17 at 9:15 a.m. Police said the order amount was $74, but the business charged the victim's account $500 without authorization.
